July 20, 1960 – August 11, 2022

Phyllis Marie Wharton (nee Fizur), 62, of Springfield, PA formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on August 11, 2022 at her home. Phyllis was a 1978 graduate of St. Maria Goretti. Phyllis is the wife of 40 years to Robert Wharton. She was the mother of Miranda, Robert, and Matthew (Samantha) Wharton. The proud Nana of Janet, Jonothan, Jacob, Lucas and Aaron. Survived by her brother David Fizur (Janice nee McGuire). Predeceased by her father Philip Fizur and mother Patricia, her brother Charles Fizur (Ann). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Deep devotion to her family, country, elephants and (much to her family’s dismay) the NY Giants.
